Area Sales Manager, Georgia

We are currently seeking to add to our team of professional Area Sales Managers (ASM). Territory is Georgia. Area Sales Manager (ASM) will interface and collaborate primarily with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers at automotive, heavy off road vehicle, and aerospace assembly plants. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional work ethic, one who possesses an inherent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to build and strengthen relationships with our customers. ASM does not need to live in Atlanta as he/she will be traveling throughout the state.

ASM will be the primary point of contact for all customers in the territory and will help design the territory strategy. The ASM will be responsible for ensuring that all sales, projects, and services are delivered on schedule and meeting/exceeding customer expectations. The ASM will function as the customer advocate during interactions with Project Managers, Product Managers, and our vendor partners.

All ASM's are expected to be "value add" employees and sales professionals. Our ASM's are trained to install and commission customer deliveries, troubleshoot customer systems, and develop concepts for basic customer solutions. All ASM's are trained extensively on the systems and software used in combination with our technical product offering.

  • Two plus years of experience in business-to-business sales and customer relations management (preferable)

  • Two-years experience in industrial sales (preferable)

  • Engineering, Engineering Technologist or a Business Degree with a strong mechanical aptitude or equivalent experience


  • Energetic, outgoing personality

  • Ability to comfortably present and train groups of people

  • A passion to "get your hands dirty" 

  • Willingness to travel within the territory

Inside Sales

Rhino Assembly Corporation is a specialized industrial distribution company located in Concord, NC.  We are seeking the right individual to offer the full time position of Inside Sales Representative.  Our company has been in business for 15 years with expectations for future growth.  

This position will place you in a team-oriented environment investing the largest part of your time interacting with our team of professional outside sales persons, our customers, and our vendors. You will be challenged on a daily basis to determine the information they require and then respond back with helpful and accurate answers. This could be as straightforward as retrieving a part number; other times you may need to probe for information, research specific products and other resources, and get back to the outside sales person or customer with your recommendation.  You will be provided with the training and tools allowing you to develop a solid knowledge base of our products as well as a strong sense of how to find solutions to challenges throughout the day. 

Position Overview

Provide support to outside sales reps. Receive (email, phone, fax) requests for quotations, orders, and lead times from customers and sales reps. Responsible for generation of all quotations and relays pertinent order information to customers. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper handling of orders and to provide superior service to customers.

Inside Sales Duties

  • Building and strengthening relationships with our customers, vendors, and outside sales staff.
  • Receives and responds to all requests via email/fax/phone with regards to status updates on orders, expedite requests, shipment errors-concerns, or any other general questions not related to a specific department
  • Receives telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers, and/or sales staff
  • Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service
  • Utilizes our ERP system - Epicor Prophet 21 - to retrieve customer information, stock status information, and status of orders
  • Ensures that correct product codes and part numbers are used for inputting information
  • Works closely with customer service rep/expeditor regarding delivery of critical orders
  • Handles the needs of sales representatives and customers as required
  • Generates quotations immediately upon request of customers/sales reps
  • Checks with credit department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received
  • Contacts suppliers and works with sales team to locate requested items in order to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relays this information to customer.
  • Distributes critical information such as change orders, delivery changes, partial shipments, returns and credit changes.
  • Generates return goods authorization and works with other the accounting department to ensure proper receipt and credit
  • Manages delivery of demo equipment as requested by sales rep and submits required documentation to order entry/inventory manager for processing
  • Handles government and international requests as a backup when necessary

• Two years experience in a related field 
• College education preferred but not required
